Founded in 2013, this remarkable organization has provided substantial funds to more than 40 nonprofit organizations serving San Miguel.
Does our work require a large Board of Directors, an expensive staff, costly administrative expenses? NONE OF THAT!
Our all-volunteer Steering Committee sets up the meetings and tracks donations.
We meet four times a year for one hour. All members bring $1,000 pesos (or more), and visitors are welcome to make a donation of any size. Through a simple, fair process, we select one nonprofit to receive all the funds raised at that meeting.
Each meeting, we also hold a raffle for a beautiful item.
