Mission
Yo Amo Animalitos SMA is a volunteer-led group dedicated to caring for the forgotten, abused and neglected dogs of San Miguel de Allende — those picked up by Centro de Control Canino and held in difficult conditions until they are reclaimed, adopted, or, tragically, euthanized. In collaboration with the Municipal Government, we visit the shelter several times a week to offer these dogs what they deserve most: nourishment, medical care, clean spaces, walks, and, above all, love. While these dogs wait for their second chance, we do our best to ensure they are treated with the dignity and compassion they deserve.
